Forsthaus Lahnquelle in Netphen

Thank you for the "menu packages" for Christmas. Our chosen package was terrific !!!! From the pre-soup to the dessert, simply delicious, thank you! We hope for many visits to your restaurant in 2021, until then: hold on!

Great service, good food and affordable.

We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday there. The food was just great. The venison, the roulades, the steaks, everything is super tender. The dessert was just great. We are still addressed by our guests today about how great everything was. Our waitress, a young lady, can unfortunately no longer use her name, has served us very attentively and friendly the whole evening, always a smile on her face. Everything went without hectic or stress. We'll definitely be back and so will our guests.

For years we have been driving the route to the Forsthaus Lahnquelle regularly and we always enjoy great food and great service! Here the focus is on quality and not on quantity.

Everything is still made here by yourself. Lemonades, cakes, dressings, etc. And it tastes great. This of course has its price.

Wonderful! We ended up here because the nearby "inn" refused to accept us despite our booking confirmation. What luck! Delicious food, homemade lemonades, great cakes, a beautiful outdoor terrace and, above all, perfect, warm service. We'd love to come back again!

The location is beautiful! As well as the rooms. Spacious and clean. Unfortunately it ends there. Disinterested staff. No mouth mask on. Tables are not cleaned properly. Dinner mediocre. Breakfast bad. After half an hour there was a lot of it. No effort whatsoever to supplement. You had to ask for that, an attitude of, I don't care that you're here. No knowledge of hospitality. Soulless. It's not about when I was there. It is about your responsibility to instruct your employees in the right way and, above all, to learn their customer focus. Ps. To me, wearing a mouth mask under your nose is not wearing a mouth mask.

The food is good, but not cheap, so a star deduction. The homemade lemonades are recommended. The second star is deducted because we had to wait 45 minutes for the bill. Otherwise the service was ok.

I can't make guests understand who always have to share their feelings on the net. Today on July 20th, we were guests in the Forsthaus Lahnquelle with a small group. Service staff all with face masks, since it's Corona time. Unfortunately, you can't see a smile through these masks, but nevertheless everyone was really very friendly. The food was just great. We talked to the neighboring table, they praise the kitchen and the house at its best. We were told that the boss still cooks with us every day ... always a varied, small, fine menu. The operators would have run the house successfully for over thirty years. This could be seen in the satisfied eyes of the neighboring tables. Everyone makes mistakes ... I think it should be clarified on site then there is always the possibility of a good success. A mistake can always happen to anyone, but unfortunately this is always rocked too high. In some reviews you can read between the lines that specialists really make a game find the mistake and it has to be online. So we were really all very satisfied, so please don't spoil the mood of these common guests, you absolutely don't know how to appreciate what kind of service is being provided. Wonderful wonderful beer garden.

Friendliness looks fake ... especially if you only want to order a main course. The wild garlic spaghetti consisted of a huge mountain of dry spaghetti with almost no pesto. When we complained about it, the plate was taken back and a small glass of pesto was brought in, but in which there was hardly any wild garlic, but rather oil. A total letdown for the price. Many years ago we were actually always very satisfied. It's a shame that the quality and the service have deteriorated so much

The accommodation was OK, but the price / performance ratio was not correct. The dinner was very bad, I had the worst schnitzel of my life, every takeaway is better

Nice ambience, very friendly service and delicious food. We were there with friends on Friday. The restaurant was full. We were served promptly and friendly despite the many operations, the food and dessert was very tasty. We would be happy to recommend it.

Calm place with fresh air out of the noisy and polluted cities. Good place to refresh the mind
